Banty Girl
Chirping
Hi,
I made an account on here years ago and barely used it. I'm hoping to be more active this time.
I have had chickens since the age of nine, and since then I've been hooked. I've raised banties, mainly Bearded d'Anvers, and I've had many a breed of laying hens. Currently the flock consists of some olive eggers, a blue marans, two buff brahmas, a few black australorpes, an easter egger, a cream legbar, a novogen cross, three blue sapphires, and a lavender ameraucana roo named Casper. However, these guys are back at my childhood home in Oregon. I have recently moved to Utah and am going through some serious chicken withdrawals!
Besides chickens, my family and I have raised Boerbol dogs, cows, and turkeys. I lived on five acres on the edge of the woods back in Oregon. I love drawing, gardening, reading, baking, and just being outside with my birds and my plants.
I can't wait to learn more about chickens here in this community!
