My uncle just gave me this to me. It's got everything its all org. But I'm missing two draws it holds six of them Does anybody know we're I might b able too find some. I'm new to the incubators.

Very, very, very hard to find :) These are my favorite. I have two of them (incubators) and haunt the internet looking for more. It would be a lot easier to just make them and use the existing as a template.

I have found 75 - 80 with the cross bars. I think I got the instructions on here which warns not to over crowd them. The units state they are 100 capacity trays but I have never put more than 80 to allow room to roll about and hatch.

Great. How good r they holding heat. I was thanking about getting the 225 w incu kit from incubator warehouse and converting it over but keep everything I take out it looks like I can convert it it out tearing it up

They are AMAZING :) They hold temperatures better than any other incubator I have had. They keep at 99.5 in an un heated add on room with no problem. I wouldnt worry about changing out the element, its just a nichrome wire. I also think if I recall its 300 - 500 watts, not 225 like the GQF wires. I would change out the thermostat though just to be safe. Also check the wiring, I got one unit I rewired because the wires were so brittle I was afraid the fan vibrations would cause them to wear and short.

What thermostat should I put in it. I just fired it up at 7:30 cent time and its up to 105 so I turned it down

Haunt your local thrift stores and find a mercury one, then calibrate it. Or you can order a masons hygrometer with mercury which is what they came with. You need to be carful with any other thermometer / hygrometer unless it certified. I found them all reliably inaccurate. Cheap to expensive, if you ever want to see for yourself go to the store and compare all thermometers next to each other. You will notice most if not all have a different reading.
