old storm windows in coop

I'm building a new coop 4 by 8 and I had 2 old storm windows that are in good shape.
the glass slides up for the screen..
I was wondering about putting them on my coop..One on the east side and one on the west side ,so it could get morning and evening light.

I would put some hardware cloth or chicken wire on the inside ...just in case.

The windows are aprox. 21" by 36"

Do you think this would work alright or do I need to do something eles ??

Sure -- use hardwarecloth not chcikenwire to predatorproof them, but they'd be good for a coop

Plan additional ventilation too, of course.

Yep it will work and great way to recycle them!

Your chickens will love you!!! It'll help with warming the coop in the winter time too!
