Anybody have any Poultry swap tips for a newbie participant?

It seems I’m going to a poultry/random small mammal swap this weekend, very low key and informal (literally no registration or organization in the parking lot of the local feed store). I have a couple laying hens and a dozen chicks to sell, maybe some hatching eggs, and thought maybe a cooler with some cold water and soda to sell as well (they encourage garden produce and baked goods, so why not something to wash it down?). I have a table, a sign, a display cage, some boxes for bird transport, change, a care sheet (I have quail), anything I’m missing? I just hope I don’t come home with a mini cebu!

Yeah, about that zebu…we went to sell quail, which we got rid of most of them, they had a couple goats but no cattle, no interest in bunnies or Guinea keets, but one guy had a red golden pheasant, everybody had to get a picture, he was gorgeous, my 13 year old has been in love with them since he was 6, he even bought a big book with awesome pictures and drew various species. I never learned much about them, figuring they needed warmth year round and our climate and living situation weren’t suitable. But he’s so pretty! I started asking questions (bad idea!) and they aren’t as fussy as I thought…uh oh…yeah, we brought him home, I even managed to find him a lady friend (6 hours away!), so we’ll see what happens, but the kid is happy (and I’m just a wee bit excited too).
