I saw a farmer near me with an old station wagon for the chickens!1 If you had a cab on the bed you could use the small little sturdy wire mesh for the windows and leave them open during the summer months,lift the gate and tie rig up during the day with a ladder/ramp to the ground and the same type of heavy mesh there too for the evening when you need to lock them up,same thing for the cab of the truck use wire mesh on the windows cover the windshield with some tarp of curtains to keep the sun out put straw in it take out the seats or leave them I don't think they care really open the window in the cab to the bed and there you go sounds useable to me.
