I am wondering if their is any information of breeds of chickens that people have had, that as a breed have laid eggs farther into older age than other breeds? There is information under breeds in the forum for young chickens and how well people like them but no one mentions about older chickens of this breed? This information would be very useful for those of us who can keep only a few chickens and have decided we to keep the breed until they die. I realize no chicken lays forever....guess I want my eggs and chickens too....ha ha...thanks much for any info...Jim Papin from Cincinnati

What are you referring to by old age, 3 years, 6 years because that changes it a lot
