Older female quail

I went to pick my quail up she’s a bit old and a mucus liquid came out her back side and she looked a little prolapsed like it was bright red , I need some advice please

Does her poop look normal otherwise?

If you think she's prolapsed, I would let her have a warm epsom salt water bath. The water should be a couple degrees above quail body temp.

When I picked her up she like squeezed out like a mucus , and I don’t have any pictures right now but her vent looked a bit pushed out and very light red , and yes she’s eating and drinking

It is possible that she was about ready to poop when you picked her up and she panicked.
