There is that small market for the poor boys for the people that can accommodate them. Even experienced chicken people cant always deal with that many gents who will inevitably start crowing far sooner than their date of expiration. My last boys stated crowing at 5 weeks of age, much to my dismay, and never stopped. Some hatcheries have started using extra boys as 'heating packs' as well, tucking in a couple with each order to help maintain adequate temps ave prevent early shipping death.
