What's the oldest you have seen your chickens produce their first egg?

Our first group of birds (red sex links) started laying around 5-6 months of age. We added another group of birds (deleware, Cochin, ee) that are now 7-8 months old and not one has started laying yet. The deleware (youngest) finally did a squat the other day so I'm guessing she is close, but the other two show no sign of wanting to do their jobs.

I should mention that we went through a bout of avian pox around the 5 month point - could be an explanation for their tardiness.

mine was 38 or 39 weeks old thats almost 9 months and so did mine they are going through it again right now the remainders of the flock who didnt have it last time
