Post your oldest laying hens and what breed they are

I would just like an idea of the average age a chicken would lay for please any suggestions would be grateful

Hi there! I have three year old buff orpingtons and one ameracana. The orps have really started to decrease this year. My ameracana is still laying every other day. So I'd say dual purpose breeds will decline in year three while laying breeds will still be doing pretty well. Below is one of my buff orps and my ameracana.

I have 2 cream leg bars and I was wondering how many year's they will lay for any suggestions

Our oldest are Red Sex Links, that we got as pullets in 2012.

This spring my five year old Ameracauna has laid a very nice blue egg every other day for the last week. Not expecting that to keep up of course. Just a nice spring present.
