Imagine collecting vibrant, colorful eggs every morning!
We're offering adorable, healthy chicks (hatched on 3/21) from our flock right here in East Austin, and they're ready to bring that dream to life!
These aren't just any chicks! They're the mixed offspring of our Whiting True Blue rooster (blue egg gene) and our flock of 11 beautiful hens:
* 5 Black Copper Marans (deep, rich brown/red eggs)
* 1 Whiting True Blue (light blue eggs)
* 5 Olive Eggers (unique olive/heavy bloom gray eggs) Some have the gene for fibromelanosis and display dark black skin. All of these hens have cute beards, muffs and some crests.
The chicks hatched from these colorful eggs will grow into unique Easter Eggers that will lay a spectrum of green, olive, mint, light blue and possibly speckled eggs.
Our chicks are:
* From a happy, healthy, free-ranging, & closed flock.
* Local in Austin.
* Fed grit and a premium, soy-free & GMO-free feed.
Details:
Straight run (Males and Females).
All the chicks are mixed together, I cannot guarantee the sex or what color egg a chick hatched from. The incubator photo shows the exact eggs that were hatched.
Only $5 per chick. 3 chick minimum.
East Austin Pick-Up only (no shipping).
First come/First serve.
Tip: Have appropriate brooding supplies ready before picking up chicks (heat plate or lamp, feed, enclosure, etc…)
