NY idea if this is a pullet or roo? I realize it's very young, but I knew fairly early when I had all Ameraucanas to compare to. This is an olive egger :)

I'm leaning towards cockerel...... Still too young to say for sure yet though!

It's two-tone beak is adorable! ;)

It's younger than I thought, and that comb is fairly pink and substantial for 5-6 weeks so I'm leaning toward cockerel as well now. If that comb really reddens up over the next few weeks, you will know for sure it's a cockerel.

The size of the comb is also dependent on what breeds are used to make the olive eggers. My welsumer x legbar pullets have more comb then marans X Ameraucana cockerels. Could be a girl, but I'm not totally sure.

Very true, some breeds grow larger combs faster than others. But I'm guessing it's not Legbar, but Ameraucana, because of the pea comb. In which case I still say cockerel.
