We were supposed to have 4 pullets and ended up with a cockerel. He is about 6 weeks old, very calm (loves to laydown in my hand/on arm). I have spent a lot of time handling him to encourage more docile personality. We were hoping to keep him to 5 months so he could mate with the other 3. but he is starting to get his crow. i thought that we were going to get at least 4-5 months before that, but he is def trying. I would rather he went to a farm that wants to raise him, but he is not allowed in our neighborhood 
This isn't an urgency to get him out immediately, but def need to get planning soon.
