I have an Olive Egger Rooster that I need to rehome and am willing to possibly assist with minimal shipping costs if not too high. His sire was a Black Copper Maran rooster and his mother was a Easter Egger hen.

We hatched him in an incubator and have been calling him Laurel. He will be one (1) year old about August 1st. He is a very good rooster but does NOT get along with my other rooster.

I had to separate him from the flock to prevent fighting, so he needs a flock of his own. I do not have the capability to house two flocks.

Please note that the kennel in the picture was only temporary, and he is currently residing in one large enough for two German Shepherd dogs to comfortably lie down in. It is covered and in the shade with a roost, feeder, and waterer. He is not being neglected but can't free range because of the dogs.

Please contact me if you are interested in him.

My neighbor is looking for two roosters for their newly built coops on their horse farm, but they are in Central Florida. I’m not sure what shipping would be for a full grown chicken.
Is Laurel still looking for a home?

No, he was rehomed. Thank you so much for asking though. He would not have been a good match as he didn't get along with other roosters and that's why he was being rehomed.

I understand. They don’t put any two roosters together. (That was the reason we had to get rid of our rooster too.) They have many coops for separate egg-layer breeding areas.
Glad you found a home for him!! 🙏🏻❤️
