Other threads on BYC suggest that this sometimes happens when young hens first start laying - the eggs move through their reproductive tract a little too fast for pigment to be evenly deposited on the shell. I’m assuming it’ll even out as she ages!Wow! It’s so beautiful! How’d she do it?
