Hey all, I put 15 ordered eggs in bator, after candleing last week I threw out all but 4. They had no signs of development. We'll this week i have candled them several times and saw no movement and air cell was odd looking covering half the egg. So i thought they were no good. I had also put in a friends yard eggs. All were infertile but one so i was keeping the bator going for that 1 baby. I decided it was time to up the humidity and stop turning it today because it was due Fri/Sat. I was gonna throw out the other eggs and picked them up and heard peeps,OMG. i then saw a pip. I almost trew out living babies. But i swear I checked them about 3 days in a row and no movement no signs of life and they didn't seem to have gotten bigger. I thought they had stopped developing. The other eggs from my ordered batch had a majority of the yolks scrambled so I just figured there was damage to those as well that had caused stopped development. But I hope they make it since I had took them out of the bator fo about 1.5 mins. I hurried and up'd the humidity it was at 55, now I have it 71. Wish them luck. And pray for my stupidity, lol.

Ok every one I have 5 babies, yeah. 4 mottled cochin and one buff silkie. The standard egg is rolling and pecking but still no peep. It is the last egg in the bator. I guess for ordered eggs, 5 out of 15 ain't too bad. My friend just had this one that was fertile out of the set he gave me. But he has a ton of chicks. So he ain't exactly chick poor, lol. I'll check back in with ya'll later.
