Been checking on my chickens more often this weekend because its a new coop for them and they seemed a bit unsettled.
I went in before to give them a little treat and looked inside the coop, to my horror there was at least 6 red patched on the floor, automatically i though OMG its blood, i checked there feet and bums but couldn't see anything, i am thinking what disease have they got?, what am i going to do? I put my finger in the blood to look at it on my finger, thin blood, what does this mean? what do i do?, I'm all confused and panicy.
Then i remember i put a couple of strawberries in earlier, the blood smells of strawberry, silly me.
