OMG Egg

The day before yesterday my Black Sexlink (Hattie), who lays an egg faithfully every single day, produced this egg. It just had to have hurt.....poor little girl.

Sure can't wait to see what's inside though as I've gotten many double yolks from her.

Wow! we still haven't gotten any double-yolkers yet, and while I am fascinated by them, I am kind of glad my girls haven't laid one. Ouch!

Extra scratch for Hattie! We had one like that, not quite as big, and I felt bad then!! That one is a beauty!

We get an egg that is too big to put in carton. This happens at least 2 or 3 times a week. Don't know which hen is laying it as they all use same box. It makes you cringe when you see it.
