Penny layed her (and my) FIRST EGG! I am a little bummed because it is cracked, but still warm so can I still eat it?

And - there seemed to be some blood on it, is this normal ? Should I be concerned?

The 2 small ones are the fake wooden eggs.

The white on is a large store bought

I think it is ok to eat. And the blood is ok too. Keep and eye on them and if it keeps up it couild be a problem but that is not unusual for the first egg.

Hopefully someone can answer that for you. As for it being cracked, I would eat it soon, like within a couple of days. Thats what we do with our cracked ones.
