OMG ITS STARTING TO SNOW

How much snow did you get in Tex? we only got a light dusting than it stopped but when I got up this morning to let dogs out there was another light dusting on everything - wind is blowing cold as all get out- to cold for this summer weather loving person LOL
I have not let the chickens out of coop waiting for some sun to come out LOL

Have to add something to this post--- IT IS SNOWING AGAIN not that nice little dusting we got yesterday, but big ole flakes with a little ice mixed it for good luck I can hear it hitting the windows- OMG it is cold
as you can tell I AM NOT a winter lover- snow is pretty in pictures not on my front lawn LOL think I will grab a blanket and go back to bed till spring !

It did not stick to anything, but we are expecting another storm system to move through this weekend and we are expecting a lot of rain. The temp is supposed to hover around freezing and a little over. We really need the rain, it has been a couple of months and our ponds are low, but ice would be a real mess. I will be happy with whatever Mother Nature decides to give us.

well it stopped snowing - sun is trying to come out, but the wind is making it really cold- the chickens seem fine I have been watching them and for the most part they stay in the coop only coming out once in awhile - the ducks are having a hard time with the water in the pool had some ice on top of it - so we are going to dump it out clean it up and put it away till weather warms up again and we are going to wal-mart tonight and get them a heated dog bowl that is big enough they can put their head in it. I might get one for the chickens if it looks like thier water is going to freeze in the coop.
weather channels we are going to warm back up to around 70's on sunday - i dont know about that.
