Omg small eggs

I just got some quail eggs from a friend and they are smaller then what I thought they would have been. Will they fit in my havobator? I have an auto turner.

There is special egg rails for quail eggs. But you probably don't have time to get them for this batch.

Could I just lay them sideways in the turner, instead of small side down?

You do not have to have a turner. Lay them on the wire and roll them around 2 times a day. Been doing it that way for 40+ years.
