It's killing my kids....they want to hold them so badly! I'll admit, I do too! I'm waiting for hubby to bring home a big computer server box so I can set up the brooder. He better hurry up....those 6 babies are knocking the daylights out of the other eggs. The unhatched babies are probably so sea-sick that they won't hatch for another day or two....lol!

They are TOOOOOO cute!!

And if your girls are anything like mine, they will soon be the most spoiled, snuggled, well socialized little chickies, ever!! Ours are about 3 weeks old now, and we get MOBBED when we open the brooder door, they all jump onto our hands, arms, shoulder... there are 1 or 2 of them that we literally have to SCRAPE off & quick shut the door before they leap back onto us

!!

I know it's cuz the girls have spent SO much time with them... (and, ok, I admit, theres one on MY lap as I type this...

)

Well this morning's total is 13! 13 out of 20 ain't bad for my first time! And that's assuming none of the others will hatch. Which I'm thinking they might not. *sheepish* I was overcome by my desire to remove the hatchlings from the incubator last night (seriously...they were playing soccer with the unhatched eggs!). Well, this morning I had to help a fella out of an egg because I think I shrink-wrapped him while removing the other chickies. *FORGIVE ME CHICKEN HATCHING GURUS.....I SHALL NEVER DOUBT THEE AGAIN!!!!* I'll get pics in a bit.
