OMG, what a day

My BO has these super long toe nails. She's just not that into digging like the other girls. So I bought some dog nail clippers and gave her a pedicure this afternoon. I only nipped about a millimeter off each nail cuz I was FREAKING out. I did nip one of her quicks and she did bleed a bit. Gosh, I feel so awful. It stopped after a few seconds and I put some flour on it just to be sure. I washed her feet so there wouldn't be any blood on them and put her back with her sisters.

I've check on her several times and she's fine. But I'm just a wreck.

Awwww bless you. That is rough. I am glad she is OK. You will be too. My dog Maggie makes the most pitiful whining noise when I clip her nails. It is heartbreaking, good thing I am heartless. I tune her OK and get it over with quickly for the both of us.

That is funny. I guess you have to just buck up and do some of these things for your pets. I just wish I had someone to show me how the first time.
