this summer is so boring ,and really hot here ,north florida, and realy humid i hate bieng stuck in the house so i go sit with the chikens and other animals and do some yard work and stuff but its so boiring,!!

ya that is pretty much what i do but it is really boaring doing that too! i love the chickens but seeing them every day makes me sick!
my dad wonders why i sleep so long..
its because i have no reason to get up except letting out the chickens!

Get someone to agree to take you to the library if you help clean house for awhile. The best thing is to get lost in books for the summer if you can't actually go anywhere. In your mind with books you can travel the world and travel through time. I bet a bunch of us would recommend books for you if you want! Many books were so real for me that still today I feel them in my soul.

What about asking if you could go somewhere to do some volunteer work? I don't know how old you are but if there is a Humane Society or wildlife rescue organization close by you may be able to do some things for them. Maybe even calling a nursing home and setting up a day to bring one of your pets in for a visit. It would be even more fun to have a couple of your friends bring their pets too, you guys could have a great time and do a good service for others as well.

unless you are FAR FAR away in the country - you dont need someone to give you a ride. if you have a bike you are set - even if it seems far away, just look at a map and do it - its something to do. also - i dont know how old you are but summer homework?

It can be very boring being stuck at your house. When I was a kid and I wasn't able to go anywhere during the summer, I would go out in the woods and "explore". I would look for tracks in the ground and sit and watch little critters going about their day. I would make crafts from things I found outside like flexible dried vines can be made into a small basket, red clay mixed with water from the creek can be made into little bowls. I just love nature and I love making things so I kept myself busy doing what I loved.

Man, enjoy it while you can!!! I WISH I could be just stuck here, no work, no school, nothing. That would be great.. I"m sure I'd get bored of it soon though. THat's when I start to literally tear things up and dig giant holes outside. I remember the great expressions on my parents face when they saw a giant hole in the yard on year. Not that anything was planted, it was just a big hole.
