So my olive egger Stormy just started laying 7 days ago. Beautiful eggs! Strong shells, perfect shape and clean.
Is it normal though for her to lay every day?! I have 7 eggs in seven days!
We had some this morning and they are delicious

I have a few who just started laying, three of them lay every day, and one of them seems to be every two days.

It's normal for them to lay like that when they're young. You may also find that next week you only get 5 or 6.

My two and a half year old RIR and Plymouth blue are laying every other day this winter, my olive egger started laying again after being broody and molting, and my ten month old Rhode island reds are still laying. I have three that are still taking a break

Yep, enjoy the winter bounty. She may slow down after a week or so of everyday laying until spring when she picks up again. They lay fairly well the first year and fall into a seasonal rhythm.
