OKAY. So. Yesterday when I went to the feedstore to pick up my JG's, and I almost bought two poults but decided I'd wait 'til next time. Momma called me at work to tell me there were two toms, two hens, and four babies in the yard. Still there when I got home, and they voluntarily went in an extra pen and started eating what I fed them... have NO idea where they came from. But yeah. I got pictures... will post them tomorrow.

How come that never happens to me?

Dude, MAJOR score. I am VERY lucky. My friend Gray said it was 'cause of all that "good clean livin you been doin!". LOL.

I think it's awesome. Moms scared to death of the toms because of course they love to strut... but yeah.

they couldn't of come from far.

I know around here in my area there are guys that hatch and demesticate turkeys and pheasants (sp) and then set them free in the woods nearby that way they are easier to hunt for Turkey season and pheasant seasonwhich usually starts the day after they set the birds free in the woods.
