I know that conditions vary.

How often do you add water and how much water do you add?

Hi John~ I only have to add water every 3-4 days for the first 18 days-we live in the same area, so I'm guessing yours would be about the same. On the final stretch, I filled the wells and put a sponge in right next to the hole for the turner cord. Then I could add h2o with a syringe when needed.

Our room temps here are around 70 and the humidity about 42-45, the genesis uses very little water in 3-4 days I have not measured it but try to hold the humidity around 40% if it drops to 32 or below I add just a small amount (2-3 tablespoons) I never did fill up the trough marked C as GQF said. I do use that one for the water.

i don't have that kind, but if you get a hydrometer, you can tell when you are off in Rh. You want to be between 45 and 55 % but your goal is ~50%. I got one on ebay for less than $10.
