? on Hens hatching eggs

I'm trying to time my hens to have chicks for Easter to sell them. When should I stop harvesting some of the eggs and let the hens sit on them continually?

Well, I won't even get into the Easter chick debate, but you can't time a hen's broodiness. You just can't. And many will never go broody, ever. It's been bred out of many of them.

You can harvest a 100 eggs to set under a hen but if that old hen doesn't have her hormones set to hatch a clutch of eggs your wasting your time and eggs.......

Not doing the easter egg thingy either Speck...lol
