Hi,
The Brinsea Mini Advance holds 7 large size fowl eggs. Once they hatch , there is not a lot of room for the other chicks hatching. What do you think of lifting the lid and removing the shell from the incubator so there is more room for the chicks to move around. The other side of this is, what will it do to the humidity and do I need to worry about this?
Thanks,
Karen

Wondering what you did? I just acted on completely on impulse and pulled out the first shell and now I'm terrified about the humidy and the rest of the eggs!

My kids always take the chicks and shells out. I know they say not to but ours still hatch. We might loose a few but who knows. We add wet paper towels to the incubator to keep the humidity up.
