Do i just put the humidity up and take the eggs out of the turner and lay eggs on thier sides?

I am also on day 18. I keep mine in an egg carton with the bottoms cut out and let them hatch in there. Easy clean up too.

What is the difference with laying them on side rather than in a carton?

The air cells stay at the top. I forgot to say make sure that the pointy end is down.

If i put them in an egg carton ,what do i do with the egg carton ? Should it be styrofaom or biodegradable?

no, use cardboard and just set it in hatcher.
