I actually buried him already- my 3 year old was adamant about it. Thank you (everyone) for your help through his hatching, sometimes nature works opposite our desires

Just 1 out of our 4. This was with my homemade incubator so I’m hoping that our next batch in the incubator that just arrived will have better hatching.

That’s a great idea. I’m going to call our feed store in the morning. And I never thought of FB I’ll definitely look there tonight. Any tips on socializing Chewie? I know that sounds weird. We have 9, 3 week old chicks but they’re pretty big....

I’d give Chewie a mirror and a stuffed animal and look for another duckling, chicks larger than him could easily injure him and ducklings are so much messier than chicks are. Make sure any mirror you put with him can’t fall.
