My silkie that hatched late and needed assistance is doing better thanks to advice found here about using viatamins and feeding egg yolk.. Its toes were curled and it could only scoot backwads. Its toes are perfect and it can walk like a normal chick now, albeit a little wobbly. However it wont eat anything but egg yolk from a syringe. It wont peck at chick crumkles or anything else. Any advice on how to get the little thing to transition to eating chick starter? Ive tried mixing the cumbles with with water, then with the egg yolk. It isnt gaving any of that!
