I am going on vacation for a week and ordered a bell waterer. I was going to get a small barrell or several buckets to hold the water. I was going to add something to the water (looking into that) to keep it from getting slimy and bacteria.
Was going to have my neighbor check on them and collect the eggs. But was going to shut the water off to my house so it would be a pain for them to lug water over from there house.
After reading some posts was wondering if this was a good idea? Or even safe. Currently it takes 2 days for them to drink 2.5-3 gallons it seems. So was thinking it would refresh itself.
This is my first year and dont want to cause any harm.
