WOW WOW WOW, I just discovered this chicken breed and they are beautiful as beautiful can ever be. They would make a phoenix blush with those tails of theirs. Anyone know if there are any Onagadori breeders in the US? They are a Japanese breed and just fantastic looking. I wouldn't be able to get a chicken this year but at least next year I would love to have a cockerel in this breed. Preferably breeders who have white or red birds.
Also anyone know other than higher perches and special coops what other care comes with them? I would assume they are not at all cold hardy and need to come indoors for the winter.
