Oh wow--will you have some available in a month? I'd love to get some but my incubator is currently completely full, and will be for the next three weeks.

UM???
Those are yellow legged phoenix!
There are no onagadori birds in the USA... At best they could only be project birds to onags, as phoenix are supposed to have slate legs. But these should not be advertised as onagadori, cause they just aint.
No offense meant by this, just stating the facts on the breed.
We (USA people) were give a few males in standard years back at the Worlds Fair, but only males, as a gift from the Japanesse. Aside from that they are a Federally protected bird in Japan and are illegal to export out of the country to any one any where. Thus the statment , "At best they are project birds" There are some of those around, but they are not to be called onagadori

Yep All that and if you did have true Onagadori, $20 PER egg would be WAY too cheap, let alone $20 for a whole dozen.

yep have seen a few true males sell in the $1500 to $3000 range depending on quality. The few breeders that have close bantams sell their eggs over $100 per dozen

Ok, folks, I know nothing about the Onagadori breed, so I defer to the experts, however, the seller has posted pictures for you to see the parent stock of the eggs you were bidding on. If you believe the seller is mistaken about the breed, then a heads up in a PM would be a good way to go. Thanks.
