Once again the word egg results in way too many answers lol

So I'm about to go into lockdown and I noticed a few eggs have darkened on the outside of the shell... is this normal? Should I be worried, or maybe they've quit?

Have you candled the eggs (you can use a phone flashlight). Eggs that go bad can look dark, but so can an egg full of chick.

Candled, I took 3 out for sure not even fertile I don't think, and one had the red ring otherwise, the remaining 15 look to be doing well! The one that has had me concerned since day one, (#3 "Tiny") has consistantly been moving each time I've candled. The shell had turned a darker shade of brown which had me worried, but she made her usual appearance as soon as the light hit the shell!!

This was the only obvious one except the 2 that I could practically see through... I still have 2 in that are maybe's only because I couldn't see anything, not a tiny little movement, but did see what I thought to be veins, so I guess I'll find out soon enough.... Thank you!
