Once pipped, how long does it usually take for a duckling to hatch?

I have 6 eggs in an incubator right now, 5 have pipped so far. Two pipped last night, and this one of the two has made a small crack in the egg about the size of my thumb nail. Neither have showed any progress since then. I read online that it takes 24 hours for one to hatch before I should start helping is this true? Or should I wait longer? Thanks for the help!

I myself give them 24hrs then help a little. After 36hrs to 48hrs I will then see how the chick is holding up and if need be help them all the way to the world. Good luck!

I started with 6 eggs, 1 turned out to be a dud, 2 hatched 1 is a healthy and beautiful the other died a few minutes ago :hit 3 are hatching now so I am keeping my fingers crossed

I know I'm really sad, but thanks for all your support and I will keep you updated

Update: the last 3 hatched this morning and they are all happy and healthy:)
