Once pleasant birds turned noisy! Help!

I guess they were begging for a quiet and dark place to lay- how nice you have your answer and an egg! I imagine they would be quite content with a dairy carton lined with bedding, even on the floor for now. They are quite specific in how they communicate, I'm learning chickenspeak!

Yeah, I went and put the covers on the kitty litter containers, and faced them away from everything, for more privacy. I feel bad that I wasn't prepared, I just didn't think it would be so soon.
