One big egg

This morning when I checked for eggs, I found a very large one. It's even bigger than the large grocery store eggs. My chickens are just coming into their sixth month. The top egg is from today, and the bottom one is one of the first eggs. I'm surprised that a young hen would lay such a big egg!

Yup, bet it is! That's been the case when my pullets have laid a huge one like that. [Poor girl...owww! ]
