I have 7 hens. Recently my bantam went broody so I got 1/2 a dozen fertile eggs to place under her. Faithfully she sat on them. Whenever she left for food the others would go in and lay an egg on the clutch which I'd remove. Lately I noticed my Jersy Giant on the clutch and she's not getting off. Should I move both The bantam and the JG to another pen and make two nests? Or just move one hen into a seperate pen? I'm afraid if I leave them in the same pen the other chickens will hurt the babies when they hatch! Any advice is appreciated.

If you have the ability to provide broody quarters that would be the way to go. They don't care about being with the flock when broody.
I've had broodies steal eggs from each other's nests and ruin the eggs.
