Hi everyone!
mom a new chicken mom. My husband showed up with 10 baby chicks from tractor supply one day and I’ve been taking care of them ever since. One of them was always a big larger than the others so we named her “Nuggie”.They’re 5 weeks old now And Nuggie continues to be the biggest. She’s double the size of her sisters. She’s very sweet and glente but she’s also very slow. All her sisters run and she’ll run then rest. She seems healthy, she eats and drinks and enjoys her life but I can’t help but worry about her. They all roost except for her, she sleeps inside their little room that they have inside the coop. I don’t know if it is because she’s too fat and clumsy and is scared of jumping up there? I worry about her and don’t want her to feel lonely. Any suggestions? I attached a picture of Nuggie by herself and then one of her sisters. She’s massive compared to them

Nuggie is a cornish cross. There are ways to manage them to keep them as healthy as they can be. The can have a lot of issues. Sometimes it's kind to put them down. But she may also live quite a while happily if you watch her diet and encourage exercise. They are very sweet and ultra docile birds. Here's someone who keeps a few as pets, Mayflower and Co:
