Its been over a year since i have had chicks and today I went got 4. After bringing them home and getting them settled I notised one was very sleepy. she mostly sleeps and ever falls over sleeping. I have seen her drink a bit and she ate out of my hand when i got her home. Is there a chance I just have a sleepy chick?

It sounds normal to me. Chicks are funny that way, they'll fall asleep doing anything. Even in the middle of running across the brooder. "I sleep NOW!" :D

While frequent bouts of sleep is completely normal, you do need to further observe the chick to make sure it's pooping regularly, eating well, and drinking.

I sick chick will appear to fall asleep standing up, tottering with its eyes at half mast. During the first week, you might find yourself with a chick that fails to thrive, meaning it won't keep up with the others in rate of growth, and it quickly falls behind in nutrition and becomes weak.

Common with these chicks that fail to thrive are pasty butt and constipation. So keep alert for all of those things.
