One chick

I tried my hand at incubating. Six eggs went in the bator, but sadly only 1 chick hatched. I learned a lot, however I am now faced with having only one chick right now. I am looking if there is anyone close to me who might have a friend or two for fuzzy, but in the meantime, what do I need to know about raising only one chick?

You can put a mirror in the brooder and also some people put a feather duster for the chick to stand under like a mama. They get very lonely.

If you have a broody hen you can put it under her as she sleeps, when she wakes she'll think she hatched it and raise it herself.

I'd supervise this though, and read into it... it could go wrong.
