I have an EE that recently started laying. The first day I suspected the pretty olive egg was hers, but when I caught her in the nest the second day, it was a blue egg. Now today there is another pretty olive egg. I'm pretty sure no one else could be laying it. I
I have two EE(one bantan who lays tiny eggs), a barnvelder with pretty medium brown eggs, a barred rock, two cali whites, a silkie, and a brahma. Is it possible the EE layed all 3?

It is possible. The blue color is from the shell, if you crack it and remove the membrane on the inside they may all look alike. The olive green color comes from brown laid down after the egg shell is completed. That brown is usually laid down during the last half our or so that the egg is still in the shell gland. If the egg was accidentally laid a little early they could easily be from the same pullet.

The egg laying process has a lot of different parts. It's not that unusual for a pullet to have to work out some of the kinks in her internal egg making system when she first starts. Even older hens can sometimes have an oops.

Although 2018 was my first time having chickens I have 2 EE I thought I had 3 because at first I had one blue egg and one green egg and one olive. Later I figured out my green egg layer only dyes her eggs when she feels like it. Sometimes her eggs are blue, green, olive and almost golden. Enjoy the daily surprise it never gets old.

That's so cool!

Cool, thank you!

My F1 Easter Egger lays eggs that range from green to olive.
