One Chicken laying egg's other 1 is not

We have 2 RIR. They are a little over 5 months old. One has started laying eggs every day but the other one hasn't. She started laying on the 17th of this month. Why isn't the other one laying? I want more eggs!!!!!

we got two buff Orpinton Hens and one was giving us eggs for the pass month the other one started just last week the 1st had nice smooth brown eggs the other same size but not as smooth spotted. Abouth once a week they skip a day but on the advarage we get one egg a day from each.
I would like to know why the spotting on the eggs?
