I have nine hens--they all have nice smooth breasts except for one who has a definate line right down the middle of her. Looks just like cleavage! Is this ok? She is otherwise ok and doesn't seem bothered by it, it's just different that the others.

This is too funny. Of my 7 three week olds, the silver laced wyandottes both have 'cleavage' and the rest don't. They're all seemingly happy and healthy, but I was worried for a while too.

Now I'm picturing them in little bras.

is fine, birds which are fatter (unless you KNOW how to keep muscle on and fat off birds) usually have this, take one of my OEGB hens.. she is a little fatty.. i need to take it off, But anyway.. she has this too.. none of the others that are healthy do. then one of my roosters is more muscular then the other, and has this as well.

I had to respond to this one as it sounds like my chicks. I have raised hundreds of chicks but for some odd reason this last batch of heavy breed layers/ Mutts, all seem to have these big ample plump breast. I have never seen this before on previous hatches, these birds look so stout.

I have 3 Buff Orpingtons, all about 6 weeks old, and one of them has definite cleavage while the others do not. She is the heavier of the three.
