Oh they speak English, you walk into the duck yard around here and say the word PEAS, see what happens.

So True!! They have been great about coming to 'bed' at night when I say 'Bedtime'. And come running when I say "ladies". They are so cool! Loud....but cool lol

I'm having the same issue with my 3 week Pekin hen, my drake not so much. They currently sleep inside the house and get to roam the house but when I take them outside to swim and let them free in the back yard she starts yelling once I go back inside. I swear my Drake looks at her like shut up woman ha ha. I will eventually let them sleep outside once they are bigger and find a coop for them, they will be free range all day and locked up safely at night. Any recommendations on what I can do to help with her "separation anxiety". I have 2 so they are always together.
