I just went in to check in on my ducklings, I have four that are 2 weeks old now. I had just completely changed the bedding just 2 hours ago, fresh water and food too. And I just found my daughters lying dead in the brooder. I don't have the heart to tell her, it was a crested blue swedish and she was soo cute. Why would she just drop so quickly? She was running around and happy just 2 hours ago, no signs of illness what so ever! Now I am worried about the three remaining, this is our first death with our ducks, chickens, and guinea that we have gotten. It just breaks my heart. Rest in peace little Ming-Ming.

So sorry to hear about that. [IMG]

I hope it was not an illness and the other 3 are just fine.

Quote:No sign of mites and thier poop looks fine too. They are in our dining room and the brooder gets cleaned daily, it is a glass stock tank so very easy to clean. Thanks all for the hugs!
