I have a duck with a brood of ducklings where one of the ducklings is huge. I mean REALLY huge. It's at least twice the size of the others, maybe more. As they grow, this one seems to be getting incrementally larger than the others in the same amount of time. The hen is a Khaki Campbell, and the drake is a Welsh Harlequin. Any ideas on why this one duck is so much larger? The only thing I can think of is some kind of recessive gene that it got from both the hen and drake. I've posted two pics. Sorry they are so blurry, but you should still be able to see the size difference.
