My girls only gave me one egg today (usually 2-3) and it was green. My youngest duck is almost 2 and I have never had a green egg before. My ducks are not breeds which usually lay colored eggs (Khaki, Khaki mix, Welsh Harlequin, Swedish). I think it may be from my Welsh Harlequin who has been acting rather quiet for the last couple days. Is the egg a sign of illness? It has a little bit different texture too, not quite as smooth as normal?!
